Axed Rim Large Alder Bowl #218C

Bayberry/Linen Alder bowl with a band of axe work left on the rim. 235x230x70mm. 
All of my bowls are initially shaped with a side axe before mounting on the spring pole foot operated lathe - I left some of this prep work intact on this one as well as the hand forged hook tool traces on the interior for a wonderful "spun" texture!  
As with all my bowls, exterior in organic milk paint and sealed with flaxseed oil and beeswax.
